about

Mad Conductor & The Stupid Stupid Henchmen join forces once again as THE INFINITE ALLIANCE!

lyrics

(CHORUS:)
Madness amplified
Whole world’s petrified
Kids all called inside
Dosed with their bromide
How can we survive these turbulent, turbulent times?
I’m afraid it’s Thorazine or Mundicide

(DEVLIN:)
My head is in a fog
My lyrics have devolved
I can’t express myself
No problems are getting solved
And all the while, sinkin’ miles into vile bile
In denial of the trials piled
Once the spirit has been settled one can cultivate chi
Imprisoned in a body, we’re supposed to break free
Thou shalln’t judge me, lest judged be thee
Is what I told the judge before he chucked away the key
Luckily it bounced and landed back in front of me
I became overwhelmed with glee
Commandeered a nearby river dweller's jet ski
And traveled steadily between Pennsylvania and New Jersey
Tearing out without a curtsy
Unstitched gash in my head from my surgery
In the darkness of the forest I could see what was always before us
And after us and what goes on forever in miraculous
Infinity, a macroscopic mystery
Life could be such a party
But these manipulative megalomanic monsters had to go and shut it down before it started
In their quest for wealth and power
Lashin’ the humble ones who dared to show compassion
And goons still line up to sign up to kill a man
While the shadows I inhabit remain cold and filled with grief

(CHET:)
I often wonder how, I still wander
In 10 degrees pushing with these rusted out abec 3’s
And lack of sleep, I even stressed out the 7 ply
I hope love binds come spring time
Because lately I'm feeling less than
But I guess that's just a side effect of seasonal depression
As a kid every session used to end
With a visit from our friend in a blue uniform
He used to tell us that we need to scram
So we’d hide up in the shop rite until he left
Then were free to skate again, deep into the night
Endless joy was shared with all of my friends under the parking lot light
And then the years aged us into another version of ourselves
But not without the foundation of escaping a systemic route
There's no doubt I'd be a different human being
If I never grew up in South America
There's no saying who you’d be without your past
And the people that you’ve met along the way
I take it all with a grain of salt 'cause my brain is soft
And it's tasteless in these days since they tapped into my frontal lobe
Abandoned any plans I was going to unfold
Now I’m having trouble acclimating to the times that surround
It's only madness that's around
So I panicked and I bought another black hooded sweater
Did the bad always follow with the better?
Or are we doomed to live in this metaphoric dark matter?
